This quilt was machine appliquéd and pieced by J. Yoshimoto. I outline quilted the assorted critters and then added detail to each such as feathers for the birds, scales for the alligator and spots to the cow. I followed the detail in the fabric to create bark for the tree limbs, and added stems to the leaves. The outer border was stippled with a small stipple and the inner border was McTavished. Mono filament was used throughout so as not to detract from the appliques.
