This quilt was beautifully pieced and appliquéd by D. Christensen. I outline quilted the appliqué work and then echo out from there. Details were added to each applique such as vines for the leaves and pebbles in the sunflowers and roses. A feathered vine circles the outside of the quilt and around each corner basket. This quilt won first in the commercial quilted applique category and best in class at the NE State Fair 2009.
