This quilted wall hanging was a finalist in the Benartex Peace, Love and Quilts contest. The circles of this quilt represent life's never ending cycle The overall pattern is a mandala, with circles spreading out from a main center circle showing how all lives connect to the earth, while continuing to celebrate the uniqueness that each of us, as an individual, possesses. The theme continues with the use of fussy cutting, which highlights the polka dotted fabric, and the beautiful flower motif fabric which is used in the outside circles and border corners. The word peace is quilted in a dozen different languages around the outside of the circle, representing the harmony that is possible when we celebrate diversity wherever we find it. It won third place in the original design category at the NE State Fair and Second place at the Douglas County Fair. This Quilt is for sale. Please contact me if interested.
