This quilt was designed and appliquéd by Joan Waldman, Sandi Kosch, Gloria Miller, and Marie Clark. I copied the appliques in the corners and quilted them in the opposite corners surrounding them with free hand vines and micro background fillers. The center medallion is outlined and then micro McTavishing is used around the appliques. The black frame around the medallion has a feathered vine surrounded by mini cathedral windows. It was made for the 2011 NSQG Raffle and quilt won Best of Class, Best of Lot, and Reserve Best of Show at the 2011 Nebraska State Fair. It also won honorable mention and Viewer's Choice at MQS 2011 in Kansas City, 1st place bed quilts machine quilted at AQS Des Moines, 2nd plac MAQF 2012, 1st in quilts among friends MQX East 2012, 1st NQA.2012. In 2013, it won first and viewers choice at OK Winter Quilt show, 2nd at HMQS, HM at IHQS, 1st in color compatability and 1st in the group category at Quilt Odyssey. In 2014 it won 3rd at the Dallas Quilt Show. This quilt was also featured in Quilter's Newsletter, The Quilter Magazine, Unlimited Possibilities, and was on the cover of ON Track A Quilter's Magazine.
