This vest was made using a vintage folkwear pattern. The front and lapels are black leather quiltede with flames and Chinese dragons, and the back was quilted with Chinese lions and peonies on burgandy dupioni silk withverigated thread. I used silk for the batting. In 2014, it won 1st at MQX west.
